The concept of health is broader and more subjective than you can imagine. Whole health includes body, mind and emotions and, when one of these aspects fails, some imbalances and other diseases arise.
A healthy person has channels in the body where fluids, nutrients and subtle energies flow naturally by arteries, veins and nerves. They flow through the circulatory, nervous, digestive and lymphatic systems, together with other systems. These physical systems coexist with the subtle channels in interplay of cause / effect.
The Ayurveda concept understands the emotional and psychological problems as a result of the imbalance of internal energies and the five elements, Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. These energies can be blocked, dormant or follow in wrong directions. The interaction body / mind are so powerful that when it becomes unbalanced numerous diseases can appear.

The common emotions are: fear, anxiety, restlessness, sudden mood swings (Bipolar and Panic Syndrome), impulsivity, poor concentration and memory, insomnia, insanity and schizophrenia; which can cause weakness, fatigue, dizziness, tremors, rapid weight loss, arthritis, constipation, back and sciatic pain, hearing and speech problems.
The common emotions are: self-criticism, irritation, frustration, cynicism, intolerance, impatience and angry words, which can cause skin problems such as acne, hives and allergies. Imbalance can also cause eye and blood diseases, heartburn, reflux, ulcers, nausea, indigestion, excessive hunger and thirst, baldness, excessive sweating and odor, headaches, liver and gallbladder problems.
The common emotions are: self-criticism, envy, jealousy, greed, mental slowness, attachment and accumulation of things, people and ideas; stubbornness, depression and melancholy. Disorders related to mucous membranes: runny nose, mucus, asthma and joint pain. Due to fluid retention, diabetes, edema, hypertension, heart disease, obesity and shortness of breath, inflammation of the sinuses and lymph nodes, slow digestion, sore throat, hoarseness and emphysema arise; excessive sleep, lethargy, laziness, bad mood, apathy, low libido / motivation.
